I used this app for about an hour every day for the week before my test, and it really helped with my confidence walking into the exam. There are plenty of questions and they cover just about anything you might see on the test. They even cited where the answers came from, which just happened to be from the same book and edition my class used. The question format is extremely similar to that of the official test, and you can't beat the explanations provided with each question. I just have to say, this app is/was an absolute lifesaver. Took my NREMT Cognitive (Written) Test today and, while my stomach was in complete knots waiting for the results, I just found out that I passed and am now nationally registered. I felt infinitely more prepared for my test today and I give the makers of this app my deepest thanks!!! I’ll definitely be using PocketPrep for my NCLEX next year!!! The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 was because the app starting glitching and crashing as I got closer to completing all the questions, but that’s just a minor issue that shouldn’t deter you from using this app. That said, PocketPrep is still a lifesaving app that I would swear by. My test today, though, didn’t have a lot of those so don’t expect NREMT to be exactly like the questions on this app. Your first action should be.” and then you would have a series of answer choices. Her symptoms are blah blah blah, Hx of blah blah blah. For example, a question on the app might say (and i am totally making this question up) “A 30 year old female patient presents with a sudden onset of dyspnea. However, a large portion of the questions on PocketPrep were situational which wasn’t the case on my exam. It’s definitely worth the money and it helped me develop my test-taking strategies. I strongly recommend biting the bullet and buying the full version with 800 practice questions. PocketPrep definitely helped me prepare for the NREMT Exam. That being said, I am very pleased with this app and will utilize it for my Intermidiate and Paramedic level National Registry exams as well. As a side note, as mentioned above, I did take an EMT course prior to using the app and used the app in conjunction with my course book for reference, so please don’t assume that just by using the app you will pass the NREMT. I purchased the app one week prior to my exam and passed it easily, I felt very confident going in to the exam and what to expect. An added benefit is that if you complete all 800 questions and fail to pass the NREMT exam on your first try you get the app price refunded, so you have nothing to lose. Furthermore, you can track your progress, identify which areas you are proficient/delinquent in and focus on those specific areas. This populated first on the list and for a very good reason, with 800 questions to create exams from (slider allows you to choose amount of questions you prefer) you are quizzed on every topic on the NREMT. I recently finished my EMT basics course at my local college, and in getting ready to take my National Registry exam I searched for a good study guide to help practice exam questions. *Terms and conditions apply for our Pass Guarantee.
